Discover the Haras de Tarbes, its history and its secrets. Superb Napoleonic buildings harmoniously grouped together in a beautiful architectural ensemble in a nine-hectare park where splendid bicentenary trees stand tall - that's the Haras de Tarbes! As you explore the buildings and quarries, you'll discover a magnificent green setting steeped in history, right in the heart of the city. An enthusiastic guide will reveal the history and secrets of the Empire-style stables, the horse-drawn carriage collection, the main tack room, the Media Library and the magnificent Maison du Cheval. Depending on the day, you'll also be able to admire the working horses of the Tarbaise military or mounted police...
