CHATEAU DE MAUVEZIN

The first castle was built on an artificial motte, likely in the 11th century Summer Sundays: medieval performances: juggling, storytelling, and guided tours in period costumes

Contested during the Hundred Years' War, it was the site of a siege led in 1373 by the Duke of Anjou, brother of King Charles V, it was given to Gaston Febus, who incorporated it into his domain of Nébouzan.
