PHILIPPE PUJO - PEINTRE
Born in Geneva in 1980, Philippe Pujo spends his childhood at the foot of the Pyrenees, and
draw. A philosophy graduate, he studied architecture and discovered the history of the city
art. In 2009, he moved to Bagnères, created Toiles de France, and participated in the exhibition
parisian collective "Les Grands maîtres de demain" at the Carrousel du Louvre. It is the beginning of a "nourished" artistic career.
As in the lego game of his childhood, Philippe Pujo superimposes, assembles, adds or removes, and follows the thread of an empirical intuition. Realistic, free or narrative figuration, with ballpoint pen or acrylic paint, a methodically ordered scrawled line or a spontaneous and removed touch, on a support mishandled by collages. Nourished by philosophy, in search of a knowledge of oneself and the world, the artist heckles established codes and tells new stories with his own language.
