Walfroy CONSTANT, high mountain guide for more than 10 years is specialized in winter off-piste skiing in the Pic du Midi / Grand Tourmalet area: The largest off-piste area in the Pyrenees. After starting my career in La Grave and Chamonix, I came back to the Hautes-Pyrénées: the free-ride potential is so important on the Haut Adour that it seems logical to me to develop my guiding activity here! When the snow conditions do not lend themselves to off-piste skiing, I practice climbing the snow couloirs of the haut Adour or ice climbing at the Pic. In summer, the Haut Adour is punctuated by rock climbing sites offering possibilities for all ages. The rock school of Beaudéan, at the entrance of the Lesponne valley is perfect for an initiation.
