Ciné-débat "Echos d'Estives" de Léna Corsaut et Leila Marliac

Every summer, in the Pyrenees, herds—led by their shepherds and shepherdesses—leave the valleys to head for the high-altitude pastures. During a trek on foot across the mountain range, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, Leila and Léna, students at an agricultural college, set out to meet the people who care for these herds. Eight portraits captured in the midst of their daily lives. Eight voices that bear witness to the tension between passion, sensitivity, and pragmatism. The screening will be followed by a discussion with shepherds from the valley.
