Tonight’s program is dedicated to the “must-hears”: - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Divertimento in D major, K. 136 - Johann Sebastian Bach: The Art of the Fugue—selections (No. 1, No. 4, and No. 9) - Luigi Boccherini: String Quintet in E, G 275 (Andantino mosso, Allegro con spirito, Minuetto, Rondo) - Joseph Haydn: String Quartet in A Major, Op. 20 No. 6 (Allegro di molto e scherzando, Adagio, Menuetto, Allegretto, Fuga a 3 soggetti, Allegro) Musicians: John MacFarlane, Arianna Smith, Aurélien Fort Pederzoli, David Cunliffe, Hayk Sukiasyan, The Cordes en Gascogne Festival is a unique opportunity to hear the talents of tomorrow in the idyllic setting of our villages. A festival built on encounters and exchanges, music and camaraderie, seamlessly integrated into the beauty of the local heritage. The Black Oak Ensemble, the festival’s founder with the support of the Couloum-Mondebat City Hall, will perform several concerts and showcase its most talented students in public performances and master classes in the shade of the plane trees.
