Screening of the film "Rasco and Us." A documentary film about dogs that protect herds from predators. Runtime: approximately 1 hour. Director: Axel Falguier. "This is Rasco! His mission? To protect livestock during predator attacks. There are now more than 5,000 herd protection dogs like him in France. Accompanied by members of the Institut de l’Élevage, we set out on the roads of France to meet with ranchers and shepherds to discuss how they raise and manage their livestock guardian dogs." The screening will be followed by a discussion on livestock guard dogs with facilitators from the Pyrenees National Park.
