As an artist-in-residence, Inés Fontaine is developing a project based on photographs from the Alix Collection. Housed in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, the collection brings together nearly one million images taken in the Hautes-Pyrénées since the late 19th century. Based on selected photographs, she has conceived a series of three dinners and an afternoon tea where the images will be shared during the meal—a convivial way to bring the region’s history to life.
